Has anybody built a sub enclosure that sort of hangs off the back of the rear seats in a 2006 xB, sort of like a backpack? I don't mean with straps, just sort of parallel to the seat back and attached to it and facing down and to the back a bit...

i build custom boxs i can do any thing u want we will prob have to do fiber glass and with that the world is your limit hit me up im in so cal

I'm visualizing a flat wood piece against the back seat, with a notch in the surface for the LATCH anchor. The whole thing would protrude just a few inches and cover most of the back seat surface, with some curves on the lower-right corner to accomodate the plastic over the shock towers. I was thinking it might be mounted with machine screws through the carpet and into the metal of the seat?
