I've e-mailed him with no answer so far, so I posted on norcalscion.com. Hopefully I'll hear something soon

Supposing I find an adapter plug to hook up an amp, would I need to run a crossover because the connection has amperage already?

Yes you will need a crossover unless your amp has it build in not for teh amperage but to get only bass from the sub.

I just so happen to have one of these laying around because I replaced my factory head unit. Does anyone still need it? Let me know. Oh yeah, sorry for the fuzzy pic.

At Wal-mart it is made by Scosche (spelling?) It actually called an amp installation kit.

If your gonna run the stock head-unit, you will need one more part. It's a Line Output Converter. (Best Buy around $27.00, I have been told Wal-Mart has one of these too.)
