This was an awesome idea with an awesome effective result. I think this could become a monthly to do for clubxb! Each month a different member is selected and money is donated to help towards the purchase of his or her chosen next mod. A price cap may be a smart tool to put in place in order to keep the goal achievable. A list with members and his or her desired mod could generate a randomly selected person each month. If not enough money is raised to secure the selected individuals mod then the donators could vote to select an affordable mod with the money already collected.

Pay it Forward - xB Style!
I think either nomination or random selection would work well for this proposed cycle of giving. ClubxB sellers could also benefit from the “Pay it Forward” system by providing the desired parts. We see far too many posts regarding parts for sale and the only replies are us guys wishing we had the cash in hand to purchase the item. I believe that ClubxB is a strong enough community to maintain a consistent cycle of aiding each other in purchasing the items each of us really want!

Thanks for the reps, this idea has me excited about what we can accomplish as a community.

We should also incorporate a "pay to play" policy. Only clubxB members that contribute to the community fund would be eligible for nomination or random selection. This would further encourage more members to participate in the Pay it Forward Cycle.
