| Hey xbtuner, did you notice any significant change in performance after the cold air intake? How about a change in mpg? I'm averaging about 31 now totally stock.

| Thanks for the info droeger. For me, I don't know if it is good money spent if I get a kit or not. I just got my xb 2 weeks ago. I'm still in the new car smell phase of ownership! |

| MAN, Your best bet would to be purchasing either the not scion issued AEM or the perrin SRI. I've had both(still have the perrin), and those are going to give you your bang for buck value. Oh yeah, and don't buy those wanna-be intakes on Ebay. Get a real deal, pay the extra $20-30 unless you want it to kill ur MPG |

| The Injen SRI has the most HP gain out of AEM Cold Air, Injen Short Ram, SPFR Cold Air, EL Prototypes Cold Air. I haven't seen a dyno test on the Perrin so I can't say anything good or bad about it. The choice is really up to you. |

But i also am using a GreenfilterUSA crossrefference on a count Perrin uses a sponge like filter. It becomes clogged way too easy. Kind of like the Greddy filters but larger. |

| AEM Cold Air Intake Kit I have a AEM Cold Air Intake Kit that I would consider selling.
It is BRAND NEW and has never been installed.
I started a new business and I don't have the time to install it.
I am also selling the 2004 Scion XB (Polar White, Automatic)...
Anyone interested can either call me (859)512-8351 or email me.
I will consider reasonable offers.
I believe I paid $295 for the kit on Ebay....
Item located in Walton, KY 41094...Would consider shipping if needed.
Thanks,
Tony |
