When I was 16 years old, my 1st car was a fire engine red 1971 240Z. I loved the color and the car. I went to the 2004 LA auto show with my brother in law and I fell in love all over again when I saw the Hot Lava at the Scion Booth. A month later my 2004 Tahoe was stolen from the chuckie cheese parking lot. It was paid off by my insurance and I went crazy looking for the Hot Lava. I bought mine in March of 2004 and since have put over 86,000 miles on her. I was lucky to get # 0178 of 2100.

On a side note, I have over 200 scion xb and tc die-cast toys. Some were gifts from my kids, family, friends and some I bought. You will see me and my kids at most scion shows selling all kinds of scion toys.

I am currently looking a RS4 Torched Penny in a 5sp. ( it reminds me of my 1975 root beer brown 280Z ).

My wife and I were looking for two new cars at the time. Our Jeep Cherokee at the time was dying, and we each needed a ride. So a friend of mine suggested speaking to his uncle at the local Toyota dealer. After getting a great price on a Camry for her, I asked him to look at the xb. Ever since the Gen2 came out, I've liked them more and more, but I still wasn't sure. But after thinking about how much room it had, the amount of gas it'd save, and the fact that it's fairly unique, I was sold. She still hates it and thinks it's the ugliest thing on Earth, but hey, she doesn't have to drive it.

My daily driver was an '02 6 cylinder Jeep Wrangler with a soft top and big wheels/tires.

It's a lot of fun, but when I went on long highway trips with it it got tiring, there was very little carrying capacity and it guzzles gas.

My commute to work is only 4 miles, so the gas mileage isn't too much of an issue right now, but I'm concerned that my current job might not be lasting too much longer and I might end up with a serious commute at my next job.

Decided I wanted a 2nd car that was more fuel efficient, more comfortable for highway trips and with more carrying capacity.

Initially started looking at the Honda Fit, but then read some articles comparing it with 1st gen xB's, then saw some xB's in person and was hooked. Bought my '06 xB 2 months ago with 4.5k miles from a guy in Mississippi and drove it up to New Jersey. Other than a cracked windshield, I've been loving it ever since.

My wife wanted one, then she found out they came in yellow so she had to have it. We got it and she got bored of it so I took over it and been having a blast ever since.

Some of you guys may have seen the pictures on my "newbie" post but the reason I got my toaster was that my jeep liberty was totaled by a drunk driver. I'd long loved the boxes but mom wanted me to get a new-new car, so that's how I ended up with the '08.

I eventually want to get a gen 1 but that's way in the future. XD
That is, of course, not to say that I don't like my '08, because I loooooove it. ^^
