| Re: VIP styled played out (update page 6) I like the VIP look. Love the dished rims, the clean lines, etc. Not all into the curtains, tables, and other stuff tho. And I know it's not just a look, but an attitude, or statement. But I wouldn't do it to my box. It's my daily. I can't imagine how fast tires will wear if you drive on -3 camber all the time. Do you actually drive with the camber like that? Ouch. |

| Re: VIP styled played out (update page 6) I was gonna go VIP, then everyone was like you wont be welcome in the VIP community. I dont care about that. I like the style, even if it aint the most expensive parts and stuff. It all about the look for me. Do want you want. ITS YOUR RIDE. Dont let ppl determine how you do your car. |

Who gives a shit what others think? And yes, VIP is all about the look - there's no arguing that.
The tricky thing is, you really can't get "the look" down without custom widths/offsets and coilovers/air. The reality is a lot of folks just want the look, but can't afford it (myself included).
Dudes can try their best with the curtains, tables, badges, leather and whatnot, but skimping on the suspension, the wheels and all the hardships of fitment and body work is really missing the whole point!
I also find it funny that a lot of dudes will pay a good amount of money for a knockoff kit, paint job, curtains, ebay taillights, headlights, etc. then complain about "brand whores" for paying top dollar for wheels just because they are JDM. |

It's just popular, so people just make stuff up to "try" and be a style they're not. It's like that Neon with the huge wing on back, now they think they are a race car . Plus it's on SL that site sucks!!!! | Funny you should say that, I took this picture today on the way to work, I was laughing my as* off |

I run the kit, rims and suspension. but not the interior. not yet. I don't call my car VIP or bip or bippu. definetely not bippu. the word doesn't fit in stateside. if you're close to VIP, I would say luxury or Euro. |

| Re: VIP styled played out (update page 6) yup even in maui it is there. this weekend it was a small show of about i would say 70-80 cars/lifted 4x4's/choppers/sport bikes/classics... 8 or so VIP styled rides. so that was a good ratio, especially when had at least a dozen 4x4's. |
