I personally dont take offense, because I dont think you're properly informed to make a decesion. You're going with some harsh stereotypes that arent true. Most VIPers I know arent big into curtains and all that jazz. Id much rather take a VIP stance than taht of a tuner tucking rims.
If you think you have a cleaner ride, more power to ya. Thats what great about Scion, is that we can mod to our own liking. We all like something different. Some may find clean to be flush fitting rims dropped 3", some may find it to be stock rims and stock height no mods, it really is all opinion. Let the judges judge, and the modders mod. Do what ya like, and thats all that matters. | |

I guess in Hawaii the judges are different cause most don't know about bB's and all the one's with crazy stuff, flashy mods, etc... win shows here. most bB's here that i really love that are "clean" in my standards never place / win trophies. just because they don't appreciate jdm, especially hard to find, discontinued parts. only when there's a VIP Style category, then the right person usually wins. | |

First, build your car out of SPITE and it will all be good.
Sample conversation:
Person: "Hey Alex, why the hell haven't you painted those rims black."
Me: "Out of SPITE."
Person: "Um, spite?"
Me: "Yep."
Person: "Okay, um, bye."
Good times.
Second, Scions are more than just cars. Personality can definately play a part in some shows. I always tell my club members to talk the judges through their cars and let their passion shine through. It has helped me EVERY time I've done it. Are my shows rigged? No (well, except for the parts that are and they're obviously gags). Are any Scion shows rigged? None that I've been to. Do you as an owner factor in to the judges decision? Almost always.

actually i like "takeshi", his actual name was Beat Takeshi, (as comedian) but has changed his name to Kitano Takeshi. (his actor/producer name)
he has done the "Zatoichi" movie (2003), and his character was Zatoichi. ZATOICHI
