| The Stealership wants my car I have never heard of this happening before. I was wondering if it is a common experience for gen 1 owners.
The dealership from which I bought my car keeps calling, writing, and emailing me with offers to buy back my car (sometimes as a trade, sometimes just to get it.) They are VERY persistent. I do not want to hear "Roger's" oily voice on my phone ever again.
Anyone else getting bothered by dealers to part with your loved one, er car? About once a month they start up with the calls. Yes, I've asked them to stop.
It's like my car is being stalked. and creepy, too. |

| Re: The Stealership wants my car There's a huge demand for used cars right now after the 'cash for clunkers' fiasco. My local dealership keeps contacting me every other month trying to get me to trade my first gen as well. They're not going to get it though! |

It's like my car is being stalked. and creepy, too. | u need to call toyota customer service & tell them u keep getting calls & u have told them more than once to stop calling, they can get in big trouble for that. they r suppose to put it in the system that u don't want to recieve calls or ne contact from them. numbers: Toyota Help
or at minimum talk to the customer relations rep at the dealership & tell her if the calls don't stop u will talk to someone above her.
hope that helps |

hope that helps | Well, I did call them, and email them - several times. (It was a dude I talked to.) Maybe I was too nice when I asked them to stop. I have a "history" of complaints with what I think was HQ for Scion service (been "reamed" with repairs from this same dealership.) You'd think they would leave me alone. I have no problem with the sales department, I just don't want to sell to them (or anyone.) You'd think sales and service would maybe talk and, um, steer clear or me. I will try the Toyota Help. Thanks. Quote:

| Re: The Stealership wants my car So I decided to write them (again.) This time in the form of an old-fashioned ransom note made with cut out letters. It says "My xB is not for sale! Quit asking!" You think they'll get it? too subtle? |
