okay...."funky fab friday" is still in affect....here we go, little mod yet so effective in conclusion. clip on wink, to oem mirror.

used the clip backing from my donor mirror to attach it to the wink without having to drill the wink bracket through the headliner or to glue the mirror base to the windshield.

dang wink is huge and not sure if ill rock this one since im use to my old 400mm seiwa contour mirror. ill check when the sun comes up for the full effect and quality.

yeah, i did NOT want to drill or glue the wink on there. with this set up, clip on/off and go.

i was going to fabricate the whole thing from scratch, then i went through my collection of mirrors and, WALLA! i happen to find a clip on mirror thats made in japan where i was able to extract the back clip piece with ease and attach it to the wink.

dang wink mirrors been sitting in a box since 1980.....

yeah, actually theres an adjustment screw to tighten/lossen the oem mirror in the back. i had the ball joint apart from the oem mirror to fabricate a whole new deal then a light bulb lit up and walla!.

i wanna put wink mirror before, but wife will constantly mess it up everytime she put down the visor, so i scratch the idea.

with this setup, youll be able to still use yer visor by pull/rotate/push method on the visor. ya know what i mean....the visor will clear over the top of the wink and towards the windshield.

to be honest with you, idk of any asians getting any great use outta these damd visors anyways.... dang thing is way up there like a basketball hoop.....for me im just saying.

btw, ill probably wrap the oem mirror with black fabric/leather/sueade to blend with the wink background. its bugging me the way it is now.....then again, rattle can black would suffice too.

btw, more surface for moar steekers on back of the wink!

Thats how i fell about the broadway man. i need to it it with some rattel can. but then again i saw a v dub with a checkered mirror. Hhmmmmm. LOL!

Don't worry I maybe more of a noob on this than you. What is the purpose of the wink mirror? I find it would be really distracting. Maybe that is just because I am 6'4" so it would probably be right in my line of sight.

So i got some LED to put in the back...where I have no idea I just wanted to do it to do it...but alas 3 of them were burned out...So i spliced into the trunk light so it only turns on when I open the trunk and I can still turn it off using the switch which is handy. I think i will get more and take take the left panel off and run them to the roof and another set along the base of the trunk or something like that....I think I am going to take my headrest out as well as I dont like them anymore
