the actual box is all mdf but the top is fiberglassed for cosmetics

this is my first attempt in building MDF/FG sub box. I like it, but too many problems right now, I have to take it out and figure out some issues. when? I don't know.
1. too much rattle all over my car.
2. too heavy, for my wheel setup right now.
3. been with my kids everyday, can't even use them.
4. I don't like how it bumps on 10's, I wan't a sub that will bump like ryan(gumby's) setup. I guess I need 12's

Well I guess I might as well show my little ole setup
Running all Lanzar/Pyle audio. Putting a little ole school in it for those that can remember Plye.

3-2000 watt D class amps
3-12" D class subs
3-Caps 1 per amp

All for show and no go lol. Hit 138db playing around this past weekend,
Setup will be tuned on Thursday 8-14 to prepare for a dB shoot out this
weekend in Cincinnati Ohio.

It's built mainly for my listening pleasure but bumps pretty good.

You need to cut it out J, You know your S*%t bumps had as Hell. I do like your Idea with the clear airlines and the leds lighting them up. Lets make it happen. With my old setup I had 2 JL 12's with a Cadence 700 watt amp and hit 131. Once this setup is tuned my guess is about 145 or so. This box wasn't built for dB drag but for listening pleasure although Short Dog is one of my favorite artists.

No Technical reasons that I know of. Depth issues and for Show are a couple that come to mind for me anyway. They sound good when fired down but best quality would more that likely come from fireing them upwards as designed.
