| Re: The Reconstruction
Weather finally warmed up enough to work with sticky tape some, so I got this done today...... But until the money or deal arrives to order a Kenstyle front lip, this will do... Or until it falls off. lol
So some of you were right, when you guessed front lip. However outta curiosity I looked at making fender flares out of them, and no... It'd look dumb as hell. lol

| Re: The Reconstruction Wow, WTF man?
what shop did you go to for your repairs before? cause they did a crap job with the paint. look at the shade difference between your bumper and the passenger fender... they didn't paint fade to adjacent paneling... that's kinda messed up if you ask me...
but what you've been doing looks sick though. i had to stop rockin the tow bar though the new fog lights took over that spot. |

| Re: The Reconstruction Well for starters, matching the bumper to fenders is a task in its self no matter how skilled of a body guy you are. Pearl paint reacts differently to plastic than metal, so that's problem 1.
Problem 2 is taking it to a crappy body shop for insurance fix. My passenger side door no longer lines up as it should, the jams have runs and weren't cleared, they over buffed the paint in a few spots. Umm, there is pits in the metal, over spray on my already destroyed key lock (thanks to low life criminals)... I had to re tighten the inside door handle because it was only on by a few threads... They didn't even blend to the fender (I know because there was a slight scratch on the fender, and its still there).... Basically I can't take it back because it was fixed on someone else insurance (was t-boned a year ago), and well, they weren't going to cover the rental for another week to get it fixed again. So I got bent over and spanked on that deal.
Now the driverside of my car, they people that did the repair work from the accident, did a wonderful job, and went above the call of duty and fixed a previous dent or two.
So yeah, I know the passenger side of my car looks like crap. But it no longer even bothers me. After about a month, I just said screw it. After all, I do have a bare metal hood... lol |

| Re: The Reconstruction Under a good light you can tell a diff in colors on bumper and fender even on a factory painted car (at least i could on my TCM). May be it's the flex additive, i don't know, but there always will be a difference. May look fine in the shade, but show under the sun, etc. |

110psi
DUMPED!
Monroe Air Shocks. Come from a Ford Crown Vic (2000). And it wouldn't have happened if it was for the guys at bBSquad doing it first. Having to control it via plug in compressor for the next day or so. BUT Soon my on board air controller will be here (gauge, switch dump valve, and compressor) so I'll be able to control it from my seat.
More to come with in the next 2-3 days.
Ok, those last pictures are terrible.......
So I went and took this Pre-White Castles
All up! (110psi, no rear springs)
Took a dump down to 40psi.... And the wheels got stuck in the fenders. Time to roll!
