lmao haven't encountered one of those hybrids yet. anyway i want my rims on!!!! i went today to mount them but they couldnt put them on because the wheel locks i bought were too think and then i had to go to work! i hope tomorrow i can put them on! then tein!

Sounds like my wife sometimes! She knew what she was getting into when she married me though, so if she complains I just use that fact! It's not like I became interested in cars the day after our wedding or something!

Hope all goes well for you though. Sometimes it's hard to deal with when someone doesn't understand your passion, but it is a good idea to at least give a heads up!

My wife is a hair dresser and she clips with a $300 pair of JDM shears*!

*-Yes, the fact that they are JDM did persuade me to OK the purchase

Huh? What? They couldn't put the wheels on because of the wheel locks??? What kind of tire shop shop is that??? Epic fail on their part. Was it a mom and pop shop or a national chain retailer? I wouldn't let touch my car!!!

^^^ i sent him a PM already about it.... 002's only allow one type of lug nut since the the hole's are too small and most keys for wheel locks wont fit... muteki open or closed ended are the ideal lugs for that wheel since they use a narrow key

Dude -- That shop's lame!! Go some where else where they know WTF their doing!!! Both Gorilla and McGard sell that ish. Small diameter spline drive lug nuts are not new to the market.

true, on spline tuner lugs only on 002.

you should be able to get them for cheaper with off brand.

i dont know what you & your gf's situation is.. but really from my
point of view.. im assuming she just flipped cause she prolly thought
they were a sh_tload of money. & it was like OH SURPRISE! haha.

ill admit, i kind of went through the same sh_t. my bf had bought
some takata seat belts. & when i saw them in our house i was like
woah, those are cute? HAHA. he told me he bought them for his
dc2. & i flipped when i saw them cause i knew those were baller
seatbelts. he said they were about $1000 for 2 pairs. & i was irritated.
but what could i do? i didnt know he was slowly saving up for himself.
& at the same time we're both building that car. so it didnt bother
me at all. but i lost it when i saw his low max bride seats. whatever
they are called. all i know is i saw them & i knew they were hella
hella hella hella hella baller. i mean hello.. $1500 a seat? grrrrrrr.
that couldve been my bags. HAHAHA. but its his money. not mine.
