| YES
Second fill up with 55% city driving and got 34.5 mpg.
It will probably be a month or more before I do a tank of all highway driving but I'm looking forward to what those numbers are. |

| I got better milage during the break in period on my motor. It was getting about 29-32 miles per gallon. Then when the break in period was over my mpg dropped to about 28. Then, when I added my new exhaust it dropped again to about 25-26 mpg. I ran a tank driving with purpose to control speed and starts and the mpg came back up to 30 mpg. I'll take the drop in mpg cause I love to drive the Box and listen to the exhaust! |

| I have 33,150 miles on my Box and my mpg varied from 30 to 37. I have found that my best milage comes in the summer (non winter blend fuel) if I use a steady foot and keep it at 65mph. |

| I read a post that adding a K&N air filtration system and a magnaflo exhaust, that mileage should go up 3 to 4 mpg. So, i was surprised and dissapointed to hear surf city say his miles went down. |

| My commute to work is 45 miles each way. I am getting around 27 MPG avg.
I ask this, does the cold air intake and the exhaust improve milage???
I know on mu Superduty the more I did to the it, the better milage it got.

| If you do the intake and exhaust thing you get a little more power which is good. But on the other hand you get more sound and younger people like to let everyone know obout the sound, which involves depressing the accelerator. If you drive the same way after putting on the intake and exhaust you should see increase in mpg, the problem is few do! |

I am in S. | Re: Gas Mileage i average about 27-29 mpg...that's with A/C constantly running, stop and go traffic, 18 inch wheels (dont know if that make a different), an injen intake. does lowering the car give better mpg? lol |

| Re: Gas Mileage I'm a little puzzeled as to how much I should be getting. I rode my "Z" @ approx. 95-105mph( give or take 10mph ) everyday to work and got 26-28mpg. Now I ride the "BOX" @ 70-75mph and get 25-27mpg. Is that good or bad?! |

So your 25-27 plus 10-15 would be just about what the EPA estimates are for the xB (1st Gen, I don't know about the 2nd Gen). |
