Congrats on being the one to finally pull this off! That is 100% Sick and I love it. With an RS1 no less AND you kept the cup holders. Dang!
When you have a moment, I would love to hear the history behind this project.

Glad to see someone finally did this. I've wanted to do this for a long time but never had the funds or time. I wouldn't have used a Lava tho but no biggie. Now that I know everything fits it's only a matter of time before I get a salvage xB and duplicate it. Mad props Bro for making it a reality!!!! | |

As far as trying to put this together for under 10 g,it ain't happening. The engine and trans was almost 10g.The professionals that worked with me to make this happen have spent their life building nothing but race cars and that talent doesn't come cheap.Just the rear structure took 9 weeks to fabricate and tig weld.It's one thing to get friends to help change tires,but no way help with a task like this.I'll keep you posted with progress | |

If I ever do one, I'll be using a close to stock 350 with a powerglide 2 spd. trans to cut down on expenses. I can build the engine and trans for under 3 grand. A 3.08 geared 8" narrowed ford rear with posi would work great on a car as light as the xB.

JETHRO B The rear ratio is a 389 posi.We used an older ford rear that had the 2 top tabs close to the rear for the top arms. | |

Good deal, with that OD trans that thing will fly. Only problem I can see is trying to get it to launch without blowing the tires off. That's why I will use some lower gears out back when I do it. I wonder if that xB will drift now??
Also, what sized rear tires are those. I love the mini tubs. Kind of a Pro Street xB. | |

I have the engine and trans from this donor04 XB with 20k and rear amongst other parts.I would unload it for 500 buck if any one is looking.Or if someone wants to build this up while they still have their original to run on. | |
