xentec 10000k hid install on projectors

before installing this kit remember to unplug the negative terminal to your battery! this is for your own good!lol and your box!

1. this is the wire supplied witht the kit, this wire will run from the ballast to the harness for your headlight

2.attach this wire to the ballast by simply pushing it in, remember to push it in all the way so the rubber gromet seals the fitting and protects the connection from water!

3.this is the wire harness for my 9005 bulb (bulb may vary), take this harness and plug it in to the other and of the wire that you just plugged into the ballast.

4. now place your hid bulb into your headlight and give a strong twist of the wrist to lock that sucker in good! ( sorry no pix ) lol

5. take the wire from the bulb itself and connect it to the wire that was already connected to the ballast and plug those together...

6. find a good place to mount you bracket with the double sided tape supllied. i put a self tap screw with a fat washer at the top where the hole on the bracket was so there was no rattle the worry bout!

7. reconnect the battery terminal, turn on your car all the way, let it sit for bout a min so the ballast can charge, then turn on your lights to test them out, also you might wanna change you headlight fuse from the stock 15 amp to a 20 amp......this was suggested to me but i never did it! your choice

8. BAM !!!!!!! YOUR DONE! THIS IS WAT YOUR LIGHTS SHOULD LOOK LIKE

Re: xentec 10000k hid install on projectors

What type or projectors are those? I just bought a set of 4000K HIDs off of WVxB and I have the sonar lights. I'm hoping to get some good results out of them. I wouldn't recommend changing the fuse ouot cuz that's there to protect the harness in case of an overload. I do understand that the start up amperage is higher than with halogen bulbs.
