If you order the neo-wedge instrument panel bulbs, I don't think they are LED's or are they? I'm still confused, which LED Panel Bulbs do I order they list so many different kinds.

there are two neowedge bulbs. One of them is marked "LED" The bulbs themselves are round for the regular light bulbs and cylindrical for the LEDs. They should also cost 2.99.

I ordered the ones with the base and they were to big. I tried pulling the bulb but the wiring is completely different. Oh Well, i'll just put another order in. They didn't cost much anyways. But the shipping from Autolumination.com was super fast. 2 day turnover with order being shipped to CA.

Ok, I feel pretty dumb here. I ordered led's and bulbs because I wasn't sure which to use. They came in friday. I just took off the 3 knobs but I can't get the panel off. I tried pulling down on the a/c vents together, and seperate with both hands. I tried using a small flathead on the lower left and nothing. I don't want to break this thing. I tried prying above the left a/c vent assuming there was a clip or someting (I could kind of see something back there). All that did was put a nice gash in the silver part of the console. To avoid further damage to my new vehicle, anyone have any suggestions or a picture of the back of this thing, so I can get some idea of what I'm working with? Thanks in advance.

WideTurn, After you pulled off the knobs did you remove the screws? (There is one in the center of both of the outside knobs. Standard Phillips.) Check out this thread:

This guy did a great write-up; it’s how I learned to remove the center.

BTW If you use a flathead screwdriver to pry with you can wrap it with some fabric to help prevent scratches.

Let me know if you're still having trouble.

Yeah, I finally got it. The write up was correct. I just had to use a little more "force" than I wanted to. I was nervous about cracking the plastic. But prying with the screwdriver like the pics worked perfectly. Thanks.

Thumbs up Looks good!

That’s the first time I’ve seen white done.

I bet that would look really nice with most aftermarket head units.

I’ll have to remember that.
