| The gaugefaces has the same as the panel where the turn signals are, three of them...two for the gauge and one for the low fuel light...Theres a guy on ebay that does them for $60, i think thats with shipping and one day turnaroud...but you have to ship it to him. or you can just buy the leds...he also sells the LEDs for the radio, but i don't know if he does them or not... |

| Yeah, I ordered the LED and the regular bulbs. the LED bulbs are a little too dim for me in the corners. A few bucks for a simple mod and I am happy! |

| Ok I recieved the bulbs today. I am very happy with the outcome of the LEDs. The colored bulbs I will say stay away from. They lit the console better but the blue was really washed out. I might as well as have taken the little rubber caps off the originals and stuck the originals back in.
I don't have pics, I'm just oo lazy, but I can tell you that they are a direct replacement. Brightness wise they are about the same. The LEDs don't light up te sides or the A/C and defroster buttons like normal bulbs do but you can't tell once you are used to it.
So remember go for the LEDs not the colored bulbs, they are OE direct replacements. No need to shave anything, just plug and play. Have fun! And once again thanks to Liesjemt for actually taking the time to put this up! and sdsnybny for finding a direct replacement bulb. Maybe now more people will try it out! |

The bulbs offer better light dispersment but the LEDs give better color and are brighter. |

| Good find on the direct replacement guys! I’ve already updated my original write up with the info. One concern, did everyone with the autolumination replacements end up with such dim edges? My camera doesn’t handle night shots well, but as you can see with the blue I only lose the red section of the left gauge and the red triangle on the emergency flasher button above. While the light isn’t completely even it still appears to be more consistent than in the ‘pics by sdsnybny (btw props on getting pictures w multiple colors). I wonder if your LEDs have either a lower output or a narrower angle. You might try sanding the edges to see if it helps. Also, Big_Kokujin, hope you got yours working. If not, pm me -- maybe I can help.
Thanks again for all the props guys! |

Thanks again for all the props guys! | yeah I lost the edges too, I noticed that the regular bulbs I got threw a more consistant light, but the blue was almost nonexistant. I think it has something to do with the narrow beam pattern of the LED. I drive on backroads a lot and I will tell you that it really doesn't bother me now that I am used to the dim edges. I have recieved mahy compliments from people who have rode in my car. My girlfriend really likes them. Most of the people I meet up with have used the colored caps and honestly I think for the moment we will have to deal with dim edges or dim colors. . .poo. lol |

Remember, you still need both bulbs in to complete the circuit so they light up.
