ok guys i did it, but i did it my way and it turned out great so here it is....
oh yeah if you ruin, break, hurt or in any way damage you or your stuff thats on you! gluck
what you need is....
1 long and 1 short straight blade (flat head) screw driver
phillips head screw driver
10mm socket and ratchet
10mm wrench
oven
paint
RTV black sealent
alchol
non lent towel
windex
and time
this is what i used and i had a little over 1 can left over
ok start by popin the hood handle located by left foot if your setting in the drivers seat....
use rod to prop up hood for your safty
start by taking off these 2 10mm bolts (do same on both sides)
pop up these things with a screw driver
then start on one side and take out all the 10mm bolts around the underside of the front bumper
then tug outward on the sides in front of the wheels and the bumper will pop off
the take off the 3 10mm bolts
then softly pry up and thew head light will pop out
unplug all the lights and let the wires hang (do not touch the bulbs)
take them in the house and set them on a clean counter top or table
take off all the metal screws you can find
take out the rings and the rubber gromets
and take out these white things there is 2 on each light
turn the oven on at 225f and let it pre heat
pop 1 in at a time for 7 min then turn off the oven and let inside the oven for 3 more min. 7+3=10 min total (thats what i did and it worked perfect)
then use a screw driver to help pop the tabs all along the lip of the headlights
then start prying
there is 2 screws to get them apart now
then tape up whatever you want on them (i know its only the 26 of sep but my wife loves halloween)
i did 5 dry on dry coats
my cheerleaders (letf to right = Freddy and chewy)
then after about 45 of dry time take off the tape
i added some RTV sealent befor the next step
put them back togather and pop them back in the oven at 200f for 5 min.
make sure its all snug and BAM! your done
now reverse the DIY and put everything back togather and your done
ill get better pics in the a.m.
