Re: DIY Stabilizer Bar End Links from Energy Suspensions

yeah, you may want to but the car on jack stands and use the jack to lift the control arm up. That should give you extra room.

But I was done in less than a hour, but have done stabilizer bar end links on a few cars. I found it best to work your way from the bottom up, its just easier to get the bushings lined up that way. But then you have to hold the bolt with one hand, and screw the nut on with the other in a tight cramped space.

But as far as diffuclty goes, I give it a 4 out of 10. My hood strut DIY is much easier though. lol

Re: DIY Stabilizer Bar End Links from Energy Suspensions

I just did this the other night. Great write up, much better ride and the first side only took me a while, the second side went fast.

Some tips I'd like to share:
Get a buddy to help, another pair of hands is really helpful to hold the bolt while putting the new stuff on
I used a small clamp to bring the two parts on the car closer together so I had more thread on the bolt to start the nut.

Thanks again for the DIY
