| Question Concerning ClubxB Me and Scott were talking about Tommys costs in running ClubxB and came up with an idea that i thought i would run past you all..... What does everyone think about making a monthly $1.00 donation to help offset Tommys costs in maintaining and keeping ClubxB up and running? Maybe he can establish a ClubxB Paypal account and we could all donate from the site itself.. Lets hear some feedback!! |

I figured id just get input from the west since it seems we are the largest region represented here on ClubxB. I know its costing Tommy in the ballpark of 1200.00 per year to keep the website up for all of the country to enjoy. |

| I voted yes, and a buck-a-month is a very small amount to toss in the pot for CLUBxB. (Heck, that's only 10 miles of driving your xB...)
Tommy may not want to 'charge' for CLUBxB, but if nothing else he should at least have an easily visible, non pushy [DONATE] button so that it's as easy as possible for those who want to toss in a few bucks. |

| Scion Xb ClubXB Tommy is a modest and shy guy I dont see him asking anyone for money. I do think it is extremely kind of everyone to be willing to help. Tommy has been talking about having a ClubXb car show and everything. If we where all pitching in $1 or whatever a month that would cover the cost of keeping the site up and a little extra for him to save up to pay for the show. |

I haven't seen any reply from him on this post so far but I think it's such a good idea. When you've been given something this cool and not charged for it, it makes me more willing to donate to the cause. I know a lot of freeware software developers use the donation system and it works well to offset the costs associated with their work. Just a thought, let me know what you think. |
