#1 | | | Other than Green So I don't want to see too many people jumping back to the generic black and white theme cause it will some day be done away with. What 3 other colors would you like to have as an option for the new Club xB?
I think a really good one would be "shades of grey" | |

| Re: Other than Green Add TCM (silver, gray, whatever you call it)to the original black and white one. TCM as the background primary color and B&W as the secondary colors. |

| Re: Other than Green Just a bit bright for my taste but I love the new look! Kinda shocked me at first...I thought I had gone to the wrong place.Overall keep it and just cycle through the colors.

| Re: Other than Green I hope nobody strangles me, but I really like the one like this that is called Acid (phpBB Group theme) - it is lighter shades of orange and green. Those are my favorite colors though ...
Maybe make the background green darker? Or maybe the shades of gray would make most people happy, instead. A poll sounds like it might be in order ...

| Re: Other than Green I think the problem is there is just too much color. If you could reserve the color just for the background and have everything else in shades of gray (the places where we have to read text), it would be much easier on the eyes. |

| Re: Other than Green To me, the green is horrible. It's too bright. A darker, or more dull green would work. That is, if you wanted to stick with the colors of snot.....
I like Tomas' blue idea. It makes the site look well put together. I think that's another problem I have with green. I noticed green was used a lot on crappily built websites back in the dreaded 90's internet boom.
Perhaps doing an inverse scheme might be good for some of us. Perhaps a dark background for the text, and the text be a light color. Most of the websites I visit are this way, because it's easier on the eyes, because you're not staring at bright white, or green, for that matter.
Really though, please gimme something else besides the green. Until I see something else, I'm going back to clubxb classic. |

| Re: Other than Green (It may not be that noticeable, but the blue and gray versions I offered up as conversational ideas do NOT have any white in them below the "button bar" at the top. I'm one of those folks who does NOT like vast stark white areas on my screen, it is too hard on the eyes. This is a computer screen, not a tanning bed.
The background in the text posting areas in my samples is a neutral gray.)
Even if one is going to go to more vibrant colors, one can still, hopefully, reduce the glare of the large whitespace areas.
