#1 | | | New Site Theme!!! The old theme always reminded me of a generic box of cereal. Most xB owners are lively and fresh. I felt our theme should show a bit of that.
At first the green may be overwhelming, believe it or not I toned it down a bit.
But I'd suggest giving the site a day or two trial before reverting back to the old theme.
Keep in mind that any updates or new features from here out will only be done to the new theme. At some point the black and white will go away.
I hope everyone enjoys the new look as much as I do.
NOTE** there may be an image missing or not updated here or there. Feel free to send me a PM or post here any glitches you may come across I will fix them asap!!! | |

| Re: New Site Theme!!! I guess I am going to have to go aganst the grain. I really don't care for it all that much.
And honestly I prefer the more subtle look of the black and white. It makes it much less consipicuous for those of us that check in on the site from work on occasion. The old black and white theme made it very easy to pop in here during a break from work. This sour apple green theme may mean that if I want to check in with a Scion site on my breaks, it will be the other site.
Just my thoughts. |

| Re: New Site Theme!!! I love it! Green is one of my favorite colors. Can people have an option to change the color scheme if it bothers them though?
You guys are crazy if you're gonna let the color drive you to some other site though ... imagine, I frequent a forum that uses colors in the poop-color range and it kinda turns my stomach everytime, but the forum content is what keeps me around. |

| Re: New Site Theme!!! I'll be one of the negatives here. It's a bit too bright for me. When I clicked my bookmarks and this bright green page came up, my eyes hurt. Really. I like the fact that it can be changed back to classic, as it's better on my eyes. Is there a way you can setup different schemes with the program you're using to create the websites? That way any 'upgrades' you make can be implemented on all fronts? The new layout is nice, but the color is....blech. |
